Carpet

Does anybody know if there are experts on Indian genuine/fake heavy cotton carpets. Picked it up in a charity shop and used it as a wall hanging. It has got the Earl of Norfolk`s motto printed ( I think ) in the middle. It`s 6ft x4ft.
I would like to know more about it but don`t know who to ask. Any ideas?

Waylen, there isn't an ' Earl' of Norfolk, there is a Duke of Norfolk and his motto is ''Sola virtus invicta''. Is that it?

The thing I've noticed is that it's a very popular motto outside of the Fitzalan- howard family too, being used as far away as Toronto and the US for regional thing and naitonal things like seals, so your motto might not even relate to that family.
