I've Got Shingles, Jolly Jolly Shingles

I've got shingles, they'll last me all my life......

Starting as what I thought was my old war wound, ie a slipped disc on right side of L5
Then progressing into a blindingly agonising deep muscle and joint throb from hip to knee, with wonderful flowering of watery blisters and skin that can't bear heat, cold, touch, clothes or even an angel's tears.

make sure they give you tablets that you can take with alcohol in the hope that a few scoops will not harm you and help you sleep, stay in the cool and i guess knock yourself out.
