Afro Hair

Hiya.  I am mixed race and have afro hair.  I have it relaxed about once every three months.  At the moment it just seems to be so dry and when I use my GHD's it is staying straight for a few hours and then frizzing.  I am just ending up tying it back which I hate.  it has only recently started doing this and some may be to do with the hot weather.  I also think i need to change the products I use but don't know what to change to.  Does anyone have any tips and advice or any good websites I can visit? I have very curly long hair, prone to frizz etc, however, I used my friends Remington Wet2Straight  Straighteners and they are brill. My hair stayed straight for days and even when I was rushing about it didnt start to frizz or curl at the ends (which it ALWAYS did with other straightners). Also didnt have to straighten again. They are so easy to use on wet hair, i have big trouble trying to do the back of my hair when dry so using whilst wet is fab.  I dont know about other brands, as I say, Ive only used Remington. The straighteneing balm I put on before is just Andrew Collinge, but I dont think its different from other products, just happened to be that one I used.
