Flashbacks

My sister said she had flashbacks about abusing animals when she young. I really love her n know shed never hurt anyone, but am worried what this means. shes been suffering depression and this has made it worse. she keeps asking me if shes a bad person and i keep telling her she isnt but its never enough no matter what i say.

am worried that something happened to her when she was little or she saw something like its somethin repressed

is there something i could say or tell her to make her feel a bit better? she is waiting to see psychologist but on nhs its taking a very long time.
