There is treatment for thread veins but I'm not sure whether the level of anxiety and embarrassment they cause you would be sufficient to warrant treatment on the NHS. I suppose that depends on the severity, so you may have to consider having them removed privately, as they are considered to be a cosmetic rather than medical necessity. Varicose veins , on the other hand, can be treated on the NHS.
