We look after our 3 year old grandson a couple of times a week and it is worrying us that when he uses his potty he is producing enormous 'poos'.
Can't believe that such a little bottom could pass anything like this. He has fairly recently become more or less 'potty trained' Doesn't like using the toilet. For three days he is in nursery for 11 hours a day! and has a baby brother of 9 months. He was quite distressed today - passing a lot of wind and straining quite a lot. When he is here he has lots of fruit and veg and has a good appetite and drinks a lot. Don't want to appear as over-anxious grandparents but after having three boys of our own have never seen anything like these giant 'poos'. Sorry for the indelicacy of the question but can't find anything on the net.
Regarding the OP, I agree with anneasquith about the length of time the child is at nursery. I wonder if he is too anxious to go while there, and so has a lot to pass when he is with you or at home.
ummmm...if every post that had "nothing to do with the OP" was deleted, very few posts would remain.......and you know that. it is the rule that occasionally one strays and not the exception.
The AB rules vary from day to day and from ABer to ABer.....this makes posting difficult at times.
It would seem that an ABer can express a derogatory, sarcastic and pompous about one ABer, but the opposite opinion is removed.

Thank you Cloverjo and all of the other helpful suggestions and advice. I did not expect such a good response and was reluctant to post the question but am glad I did. Even enjoyed the banter between the regulars - pardon the pun.
