How Bad Can It Get

Just want to share more depressing news - friend is awaiting result of a big scan tomorrow (Monday) re having 3rd chemo session - only to fall yesterday (Sat) - has broken her wrist, damaged her ribs (wrist in plaster of paris) has to go on Tuesday to another hospital to get her head x-rayed as she hit her head on the water hose in her garden.


To me her garden is a death trap (I am afraid in it) full of rockery and steps etc) but having said that she done the damage as she was entering her garden.

She told me she cried sore and you know after 1st Chemo, 2nd Chemo and middle of that major heart surgery - she gets this. I am so very very sad for her. I have broken my left shoulder 3 times but she has had to come other things for this to happen to her. Conne love to you Frannie xxxxx

Chemo is so debilitating can she not get someone in to help with the garden ? - wish her well.

My aunt didn't really suffer when she had chemo so hopefully your friend will be the same.

Radiotherapy wiped her out though...

Yes, Ann - got word today - please excuse me re this millimetres and metres business - don't know the difference.

She rang me today to say tumours are still 11 mmm (they haven't increased) Thank God.

Don't need to tell you she broke her wrist on Sat and in a plaster of paris - tomorrow - she goes to another hospital to get her head examined re the fall.

I know of 5-6 people young and old who fallen mistakenly this 2 weeks. Good night to all you. thanks Ann for enquiring. Conne
