Hey guys, I'm doing a quick survey and would like to know how do you actually choose your lottery numbers, I'm particularity interested in EuroMillions lotto, but at this point of time any lottery will do just fine.

I only do the Euro and have the same 4 lines - three made up from birthdays, lucky numbers or numbers I fancied at the time plus one lucky dip. I have won many many times but never more than a tenner.

I use the fresh entrails of animals
This is interesting:
31. How many people win using Lucky Dip?
There is no data directly disclosing how many people win the jackpot after using the Lucky Dip facility on each draw as opposed to their own hand-picked numbers. However, there was a survey of 2,000 millionaires created by the lottery and 40% of them reported using Lucky Dip

You should not pick numbers that make a pattern such as a line in the selection grid. a draw in 1995 produced number which did just that, and there were 133 Jackpot winners.
When I picked my numbers which I use every draw, I followed that rule. Unfortunately, about 10 years ago they changed the layout of the grid, and on the new grid my numbers line up. But I daren't change them now.
