metal taste??

i said that i had a metal like taste in my mouth this morning and my mum seems to think that this is and indication of being pregnant...has anyone else ever heard of this???

I didn't have it myself during pregnancy, but a few of my friends did when they were expecting.   Any other signs you might be pregnant?  Hope it all works out either way.

oops, turkey, I had a metal taste with both my pregnancies.  It appeared in the early stages, accompanied by dizziness and lethargy....

People often say they can smell ironing, though I didn't get this one.  Hope it works out whatever it is. x

I had a funny taste in my mouth for a couple of weeks that drove me mad. I found out it was my new lip balm. You havn't used any new products on hour skin /lips/ hands that may have got in your mouth in your sleep??

Again, I will blame my allergies -- sometimes get a bitter taste from the nasal drip....

Don't worry yourself unnecessarily turkey.  Get a test kit now , be brave, otherwise you will never know and you will give yourself sleepless nights.  It might be nothing you know. x

Can only concur with sunflower.  My wife often said she had a metallic taste during both her pregnancies.
