Partial Denture

My mother has to have one of her front teeth replaced with a denture due to the root snapping and the tooth falling out.

She knows this falls in Band C (NHS costs) £214 but the dentist has said she has to pay another £214 in 6 months time. She does not understand why?

Has anybody has this treatment and how much did they pay

unless she is having a new denture made in six months time, i don't think it's right. Has she asked the dentist what the second charge is for?
