20 cigarettes cost about £8.50. Being bald I can't say what a haircut would cost now.

and I thought blimey I pay 50p from Nando around the corner...

3.88 is chearp for fags - I thought they wre around £10 a pkt

I don't believe you were charged 7.22 for a haircut. £7 or £8 maybe. I pay £42. Don't smoke anymore, but the last time i looked it was over a fiver for a packet of cigs.

Cigarettes are around £7-8 a pack.

OH spends £14 on a haircut, and that's nothing unusual. Unleaded fuel round here is 130.9p a litre at the moment.

I now pay £10...but that could be a special deal.

The cigarettes I bought recently to make me cough were about £7.

Years ago a friend in Canada used to send me B&H menthol cigs because they were so cheap over there. They came labelled toilet water for some reason...tax maybe....don't know but I was sorry when he came home.
