Is it possible that my contraceptive pill could be causing panic attacks?

Yes....panic attacks have been well recorded in women taking Cilest.
Mood change and Depression are listed as possible side effects - so it may be the cause if nothing else in your life has changed.

Though having said that Panic Attacks often arrive out of the blue when all seems well in your life.
Time for a change then it seems.

Thank you! Very interesting as have been on and off it for yrs and used to suffer with anxiety then when I came off to conceive they disappeared and been back on it 2 weeks and already had 3 panic attacks :-/ is it ok to just stop it?
Yes........but either abstain from sexual intercourse before you decide on an alternative or get the OH to wear a condom.
I would suggest only sleeping with men who have been sterilized. You will not need the Pill then.
