It's Just A Cold.

I have had three back to back colds now since 27th Jan, I just get over one then I get another one, I'm really fed up with them now. Anyone else had them?

Bad luck Mazie. BTW some people her suggest doctor but I was in the doctors sugery on Thursday on another matter. At the end as I stood up to go I said I also have a bad cold and she just smiled and ushered me out the door!

Try taking some Echinacea, Puss. It's believed to boost your immune system and ward off colds.

It's probably just the same cold that keeps returning, lots of people I know have had it, myself included. Just when you think you're better it's back. It's been 3 weeks for me so far.

I rarely get colds, but since Xmas, I too have had back to back colds. Just getting over one now.
Could it be the mild winter not killing all the bugs off?

I have allergic rhinitis and have a steroid nasal spray for that on prescription (flixonase) and take antihistamines.

You can get periods of being very run down though, especially if say trapped in an office environment with windows shut, heating on and people with germs. I had a bad run before Christmas with a bad chest infection, skin infections, a bad cold then the norovirus! Most of which were through germs but flatten me as I have a duff immune system (also have autoimmune stuff). That was all in three months then got numerous abscesses and mastitis after Christmas. I'm hoping for a bit of a reprieve!

I still think I have back to back colds and not an allergy, all my symptoms are from the neck up, runny nose, tickly cough, sneezing ( I had nose bleeds and went to A & E ) the only thing I know I am allergic to is hair dye, anyway I am off to the docs on Tuesday.

Sods law intit, went to docs had bloods taken, blood pressure perfect, tickly cough gone now thanks to pharmacist yesterday recommending a cough medicine which hit the spot.

Glad you're feeling better puss, hope it doesn't come back again. I'm just getting over a bout of eczema and an allergy, I've a nasal spray and antibiotics, no makeup just wash in diprobase cream and use nothing else getting worse over two to three months. Ive never suffered from anything like this before and it has floored me.
