Good Deed For The Day!
7 Answers
I had two spare £5 off coupons for Lidl's, I can't stand to see things like that going to waste so as we had to go to Lidl's I took them with me. Had to find someone who would be spending £40. The was a lady in the queue with a full trolley so I gave her one. Had a look round the store and eventually found some one else with a full trolley. She couldn't believe that I was giving her it.
I had already done my shopping and used a coupon so I didn't need them.
I did this last time they had money off coupons.
Would anyone else have done this?

Nosey sod, I thought. Then he spoke to me - I didn't catch what he said and grunted back at him. The second time he spoke more distinctly and said - 'I think you have spent at least £80 there - would you like my £8 off coupon?'
It has been a while since I felt so ashamed - I gave him my nicest smile and thanked him - twice :)

The area I live is quite a community, often people in the shops will pass on school vouchers and coupons to people in the queue - it's lovely to see.
Whenever I go to the 'better off' areas to shop, you don't really see that, and often people will throw vouchers in the bin outside the shop along with their receipts, such a shame. So well done you :-)
My good deed for the day yesterday was to 'gift' a double bed, mattress, sewing machine and rug free to people in the area that needed them - it's an area with a couple of food banks, so no-ones too proud to accept charity around here. It feels good to give :-)
