Jock itch...

My boyfriend is currently suffering from a severe case of jock itch which hasn't been relieved from any of the lotions and potions he's applied. Can anyone recommend anything to ease his irritation?

Has he tried Zinc, my husband some times gets this and uses Zinc and its clear in a couple of days.  :-)

Some things that might help if he hasn't already tried them

 Wear soft loose cotton underwear

Change his detergent to one that is hypoallergenic, non bio

Wash with a gentle hypoallergenic wash

Get air to the area whenever possible (no sniggering at the back)

If it really isn't clearing then he needs the doc if he hasn't been already
