I have now got my great grandfather's death certificate...John Quirke. Died March 4th 1932 Crossabeg, Wexford Eire.Married,Aged 74. I have now got the following information..John Quirke, Born January 4th 1858. No.3 South City, Dublin.Indexing project [batch] no. C70135-2..System Origin..Ireland-VR...GS film no. 101161..Reference ID. 2X88 PID..This info. is not able to get the proper birth certificate, as they need a "Volume number" and a " Page number "..This is needed to find details also of my great, great grand James Quirke. There seems to be about 4 different ones of the same name. Now also got the death certificate of my 4 times grandfather Patrick Quirk Quirke. Died March 18th 1872 Aged 49 in Clarina Limerick. ok. Can anybody get any details on his birth date. Also any info on James Quirke would be greatly appreciated.Thanks very much for reading all this... bestdriver

Civil registration did not begin in Ireland until 1864 so you won't be able to get a proper birth certificate.
