Small Peripheral Neuropathy

i know i have posted stuff about back and stabbing buttock pain, but this is something i have been told, and this below is what's happening, only its got worse in the last few months, course of action seems to be medicines like Gabapentin, pregablin
anything else, as i was given gabapentin and it caused constant room spinning, slurring, would it be best to start again lower dose and build up to it.

emmie, just asking if you have been tested for coeliac disease because a lot of your symptoms sound similar, even the skin itching/rash (dermatitis herpetiformis). You seem to be going through terrible things there so just thought I'd throw some ideas into the ring. Maybe you have been tested though?

Here's some of the symptoms associated with coeliac disease and with it being a multi system disorder it can be really debilitating:

severe or occasional diarrhoea, excessive wind and/or constipation, persistent or unexplained gastrointestinal symptoms, such as nausea and vomiting, recurrent stomach pain, cramping or bloating any combination of iron, vitamin B12 or folic acid deficiency, anaemia, tiredness and/or headaches, sudden or unexpected weight loss (but not in all cases) mouth ulcers, hair loss (alopecia), skin rash, tooth enamel problems, depression, liver abnormalities, repeated miscarriages, joint and/or bone pain neurological (nerve) problems such as ataxia (poor muscle coordination) and neuropathy (numbness and tingling in the hands and feet), amenorrhoea (lack of periods in women

some of those apply, i am going for gut test in a few weeks, as the weight loss, combined with some tarry stools and other things the gp has referred me, though the consensus and who knows, is irritable bowel syndrome,
i have known about the food allergies for ages,. if i eat anything with chilli in it get large rash, cumin, coriander, one of the reasons can't stand the smell of curry, or very spicy foods. milk on its own makes me puke.

this itching just starts off then i can't stop, think will have a coffee to calm down, oh wait a minute isn't that bad for you too x x

emmie if you haven't been tested for coeliacs I'd certainly ask for that, can be more certain with the blood test they do for it and then go from there. Good luck.
