Has anyone used any of these products to combat hair thinning? If so do you recommend them? I'm reluctant to take tablets but would try the shampoo if recommended. TIA.

Elliemay1 my mother spent a fortune over about a year on Viviscal products to no avail. Eventually she found a good hairdresser who has made a huge difference by just giving her a good cut and recommending a good haircare regime. You should definitely speak to your hairdresser before going down the road of pills and potions.

I bought some at a car boot once and it did make my hair look thicker. 'Look' being the operative word. It doesn't make your hair thicker, but when I used the shampoo it did something to the hair ends. Wouldn't buy it new though at full price ! Keep hair short and layered and use some product like mousse before you dry hair.
