'tickle-Me Elmo'

a woman from the deep south in america goes to the big city to find a job

she is successfully hired by a company that makes 'tickle-me elmo' it is an interactive cuddly toy that has a miniature voice box inside it - when ticked under the arm, the box lets out a giggle

she is sent to work in the QA department

several hours later the manager is approached by some workers who complain that the young woman is not working fast enough, and the toys are backing up on the production line

he goes to investigate and finds her struggling to sew two marbles contained within a small cloth pouch on to the lower body of an elmo


"miss boyd, i said your job is to give the toys TWO TEST TICKLES"
