My granny has done this, you have to go to your doctor and let them know what you want and ask them the best teaching hospital clinic in your area to contact. She has also been to a solicitor to get her wishes all drawn up legally in advance so that there can be no misunderstanding, until she did this the doctor was very reluctant to discuss it, I think he thought it was just a whim and professionals are very wary these days of being sued or blamed for stuff, so I would speak to a solicitor. Are you asking for yourself? If you are, good for you.
I donated my body to a Nottingham teaching hospital several years ago- you need to write to the local teaching hospital and leave instructions in a will also. They won't accept your body if you have large open wounds or if you died of a contagious disease, also your next of kin can legally over-ride your wishes if they dislike the idea.I just don't fancy having a funeral!!!
