with this,
my joints are seizing up, which happened over two years ago, not enough fluid now in knee joints, which are somewhat red, crack constantly, permanent redness around the top of chest area, nape of neck, and both sides of neck, lightly touch face bridge of nose, neck and it crackles like popcorn, also its like an ear echo chamber as when i scratch my head or face even lightly, try talking to docs but they don't see to think its anything serious.
when i sit feel tingly, burning pain in knees, same for wrists.
i would never normally be in this time of day, now can't see to feel this is going to get better, looked back over notes i made over the last 2 and half years, nothing makes any sense.

Emmie could the red marks on your face be Rosacea?

I think that we should all come with a little machine attached to us that shows all the details about how our bodies are operating. It is probably a bit Star Trekky.

Did you have any symptoms when the Herpes was picked up by your doctor? I know that there is an autoimmune version of this - have you tried to work out if this could be a cause?

Good luck

eyes very dry, when closed and move them get blinding pains in head
Through blood tests .Ask your doctor to do the tests then you can rule it in or out .

emmie, I know how you are feeling, you have got to stick to your guns and keep telling the docs how you are until someone takes notice.
I spent three years backwardsand forwards, so ill, blood in the loo when I went, terrible pains that made me pass out on occasions,
I was fobbed off all the time with, you've prob got piles, it must be IBS etc , etc. One Doctor even told me that I didn't seem that ill and was exagerating my symptoms.
I wasn't taken serious until I took photos of what I was passing, Stools, blood etc and showed them to the doctor,
finally someone believed me, a couple of weeks later I was in hospital, diagnosed with Crohns,
Two ops and a hell of a lot of drugs later, i am finally living a much more normal life, it will never go away but at least it is controlled most of the time.
Don't let them talk you down, you know yourself that you are not right, keep telling them, ask for another opinion , or another doctor,
Good Luck hon. X X

first had these small blisters under nose, doc gave me cream aciclovir,
can't remember the reason he said, so used it they cleared up but left quite deep pock marks, must have had something else because sometime 2012 had been given by gp acicolvir tablets, then may 2013 blisters appeared on buttocks, then several outbreaks elsewhere, nurse in surgery said likely herpes type 2, not a firm diagnosis with the clinic, but had another outbreak and they confirmed it. took the meds for the best part of a year, but all the while the burning in buttocks, legs continued. the weight dropped off like a stone, 12kg in six months, now feel that its never going to get better. i don't know what is wrong, other than feeling completely bloody hopeless, the wonky walking now has freaked me out.
I have been looking on the internet to see if I can help at all. the redness nape of neck and other places and joint pain are symptoms of lupus. indents from clothes usually dehydration, as is yellow dry tongue. yellow tongue can also be bacterial or fungal infection. Diabetes can cause hunger and tiredness. Not enough fluid in knee joints can be treated with synovial fluid replacement as an outpatient (says relief immediate and can last six months). Nose bridge crackle can be sign of broken nose! echo when scratching head can be ear wax build up.
I dont know if any of this helps or makes you feel worse.
Where is Sqad?
When I read your symptoms I thought of lupus too. It can mimic many other illnesses and can be difficult to diagnose because of that. I would ask as has been recommended here your doctor if he will do blood tests etc for lupus, it might be a starting point. Sounds very much like the autoimmune system is playing havoc with you. I do hope you find a solution it must be soul destroying to suffer like you do without having a diagnosis.
Question Author
i asked the docs over and again about dehydration they say not.
i am drinking water, trying to keep the coffee to a minimum,
have had variety of tests, nothing from the gastro ones,
i have more painful spots or whatever in both nasal passage, doc has given me antibiotic cream. taking fenofexadine for the skin indents, but doesn't seem to be working, and no idea if the small quantity of quetipine is having an effect on the body, says on one site that it can interact with lupus, i think, all too flaming much.
seems your GP would have to refer you for tests

Question Author
many of these illnesses seem to mirror each other. Lupus, thyroid, diabetes.
Question Author
how do you know you have kidney problems, this is protracted whatever it is, reading from notes 2011, where i had burning pains in the back and feet, no explanation for that from the doc,
Emmie, If you are getting nowhere with your GP and you are worried, GET YOURELF DOWN TO A&E. Thats what they are there for, people go to A&E for all sorts of stupid things. Yours seems to be a genuine problem. I work for the Health Service and I know that you won't be wasting their time. Please go see them.
I suggested AS before to you, as your probs sound like my OH. Skins indents are due to water retention & tablets can solve that. Research AS or ask your doc to. AS is more often suffered by sportsmen

http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/ankylosing-spondylitis/pages/introduction.aspx
Emmie, really sad to here of the problems your having. I have thyroid & those problems sound alien to me. I'd go with the suggestions of A&E, no messing about, you've waited long enough! Do it x
There is an AS specialist in London; throwaway email & will send you details. Some docs can arrange one off appointments on NHS.
Question Author
rosie, have been there, couple of months ago, the doc said indents nothing, but it happens all over now, not just in arms, legs, anything will imprint, can't get warm either, drinking water but still feel dry, and mouth palate dry. sorry to say but most of the doc thinks it excess anxiety,
if they had the burning pains and stuff i have been getting over long period i expect they would too.,
Question Author
no input from our resident doc,
Question Author
