Facelift

These days you hear of so many celebrities having facelifts. Is it really necessary to have plastic surgery once you pass a certain age? Do you know of anyone who looked halfway decent right into their old age sans plastic surgery?

Although she's just had a facelift so that kinda goes out the window but in all honesty she doesn't look that much better for it, she still looks in her 50's (I think she thought she'd end up looking in her 30's though hehe)
sorry - didn't realise you meant 'know anyone personally' rather than just know of anyone. I suspect the key to it is good bone structure; prominent cheekbones, chins etc make the skin appear tauter. But what that often means is that people who look good when old are those who looked good when young, which may not be much comfort to the rest of us!
