missed pill :(

Sorry, this is a wee bit complicated! I just started a new pill about 3 weeks ago. On satuarday i accidently missed one and had sex on the same night. The next day i took the missed pill at about 1.30 pm, i usually take my pill at 10.30 each night, so it was over twelve hours grace period. Should i get the morning after pill? Thanks :)

I've forgotten mine so many times!  I wouldn't worry too much but for piece of mind you could always go chat to a nurse at your doctors surgery.

You should be fine.  You could ring NHS direct - 0845 46 4, but they are likely just to tell you to take the morning after pill because they have to be cautious.  They're also likely to lecture you a bit about the risks of not using condoms, which you already know!  So basically, you should be fine, but if you're really going to worry about it, just find the number for your local GUM clinic and pop down and see them.  :-)
