What Happened?

I asked a question yesterday, now it's no longer available i get 'Couldn't retrieve that thread? when i try to view it, is this normal for this site?

I'm one of the moderators here but it wasn't me who removed it. However I do seem to recall seeing your question (although I can't recall what it was about) and regarding it with suspicion because it looked rather odd in some way. (Unfortunately, a large number of questions from new members seem, for example, to be part of a spamming technique).

Perhaps a reworded question from you might be worth a try?

Thanks once more, I used to use yahoo, but this site feels more like a community than just another site.

It was untenable because 99% of the responded believed that it is impossible to earn that amount of money without her (Taddbeta's) parents knowing. Either it was a typo, a white lie or the truth. I kept well out of that one, the sharks were already circling.

it is, taddbeta. It's disparate in views, at times, helpful and full of advice, supportive, commiserative when necessary, sometimes lunatic, sometimes very funny, sometimes tempers flare but, hey, that's just like life. All age groups as well, all political colours, religious or aetheist ones, lawyers, doctors, artists, mathematicians, shop folk, factory folk, even a meterologist and the cranks!
