Navel Peircing

I got my navel pierced about a week ago. It's very red still but doesn't hurt and doesn't have any puss what does this mean.

It sounds like it's healing nicely.

Just keep it clean, I used Savlon spray stuff a few times a day.

OG, there's no pus, no pain just red. Mine was red for a while after - it is a flesh wound after all.

Mine healed with no problems. I'm no doctor though, can only advise on my own experience.

I am scared it will regect it because I accidentally used iodized salt which I heard is bad and it hurt for a couple mins after but if you think it's good then I will stop worrying :)

Mine healed fine too. A little bit tender at the beginning but fine after a week or so.

That was 20 odd years ago (feel old now)

Also someone who I texted about it said to go see a doctor? Do any of you think that is necessary or do you think it is fine?

I think it's fine. Just keep it clean. Use cotton wool and salted water.

It sounds like it's healing just fine.
Trust me, you'd know if it wasn't! I had mine done nearly fifteen years ago and within days it was bright red with a nasty little puss growth (sorry if anyone's eating lunch!) around the ring. I now have a lovely scar as a result.

Monitor the situation and if there is developing pain or the redness has not improved by the weekend, then see your GP.

Ok so last night I hit my navel piercing. Really hard. It woke me up but it has a scab now and looks like it was bleeding but still no puss and it doesn't hurt now but should I leave the scab or wash it off?
