New Year Prayer

A friend sent this to me and I thought I'd share it.

"If I have harmed anyone in any way either knowingly or unknowingly through my own confusions I ask their forgiveness.
If anyone has harmed me in any way either knowingly or unknowingly through their own confusions I forgive them.
And if there is a situation I am not yet ready to forgive
I forgive myself for that.
For all the ways that I harm myself, negate, doubt, belittle myself, judge or be unkind to myself through my own confusions,

I forgive myself."

I hope you can go forth into 2015 with joy and peace and happiness with you. Forgive the misgivings that you are able, take stock of how strong you are and can be, and relish the moments life can offer that remind you how lucky you are. I wish you nothing but good things for the new year. Love each other and stay safe, always.

Hmmmm, this one bothers me because it's pretty much my philosophy most of the time, but when I see it presented as schmaltzily as that I want to vom.

Thanks Maggie. I also pray for all wars to cease and Peace to come on this earth as in the words of the Christmas carol "It came upon the midnight clear" particularly verse 3 and 4
