I always listen to the afternoon play on Satudays while I do outside chores in the garden. So this afternoon I had to endure (yes I mean that) the baleful voice of Jeremy Irons ploughing through T S Eliot's tedious "drama" entitled Four Quartets". It is such a contrast to the usual light although mostly engaging dramas put on on a Saturday afternoon. I wonder if anyone else found it so dull, I was a captive audience because I was pulling up ivy and leaves.
