hes been poorly for 10 days. symptoms:- aches and pains.....runny nose........coughing........extreme fatigue (sleeping now)........loss of interest in anything / anyone.........average diet and fluid intake.
Never seen him like this before. He normally goes to work even if hes ill. Hes going to his GP tommorow. Would it be reasonable for him to ask to have his bloods taken to see whats going on. Poorly dog and poorly hubby OMG !!

Having the flu jab wouldn't have protected her, this strand of flu not covered when the learned medics made their educated guess to which ones we needed protection from.
Sounds like 'flu. I got it this year in late Jan., despite being vaccinated. That is one thing, but then I developed bronchitis, which warranted antibiotics it was so bad, and I'm still coughing a bit after that. In other words, the 'flu will pass, but may pave the way for other infections which need treatment, so keep an eye open. Keep up the fluids and don't force the pace of recovery, the fatigue is real. Chin up, it will pass! :)
