Serious question though.
Why does the human animal find 'uniforms' sexually attractive?
No other animal dresses up for its mate.
What is the appeal of a uniform?

loads of species "dress up" to attract a mate. They don't have access to uniforms though, so they puff up their feathers/fur, flush parts of their anatomy with blood to make it go red and so on

Many other animals show a very glamorous display of colour to attract a mate. Also not all people find uniforms sexually attractive.

Suppose it is because a person in uniform should be reliable and trusted.
Many are not.

I don't find any kind of uniform to be a turn on at all and some are repellent to me such as the 'St Trinian' thing that is supposed to be acceptable for grown men to lust after.

I do like the tennis whites - I blame that on 'that' poster :)

There's a huge variety of nature's equivalent of uniforms on display, if you care to look. Birds of paradise being the prime example, but also various pheasants are superbly colourful.

I don't think everyone does find uniforms attractive - some may find them positively repellent and/or frightening - for example anyone who was in a concentration camp - however, very many would find a uniform a source of comfort and protection - i.e. firemen, RNLI seamen and soldiers from one's own country or allies.

I think as said,it can (not in all cases) represent strength,care,safety but equally the excitement that some derive from a bit of power and authority over them.

Perhaps, but the "no other animal dresses up for its mate" is not really correct. Uniforms are a special case of the same principle -- perhaps even more similar to nature's dressing-up than normal human fashion and dresses because it's often meant exclusively for sex.
