Atrial Fibrillation Flare Up

Hi I seem to be having a flare up of atrial fibrillation I drunk a lot of diet coke yesterday some chocolate and 2 cups of coffee last night. I only slept for 3 hours. This morning I went out for a walk in quite hot weather and I got lost ended walking 2 miles. I went to a cafe and sat down and had a drink I was bored so I checked my pulse I noticed it was skipping beats every couple of minutes I'm home now and it is still doing it 2 beats every 3 minutes I am not sure whether this is anything to worry about I'm on beta blockers and rivoroxaban so unlikely I will get a clot pulse rate is ok a bit fast at 84 but I feel fine apart from a bit tired. I am trying not to think about it and just accept it otherwise I would drive myself mad

cut the coke out, coffee ok in moderation ,
caffeine in both these, to also to some extent in choc too, should not have and caffeine products after 6pm if ya want to sleep well
if you not back to normal in a few days see a doc

No chest pain or discomfort......that is a good sign.

Gordie, Diet Coke is crammed full of caffeine. I'd avoid it like the plague, I drank a large bottle of it with a pizza a few weeks ago and didn't sleep for 2 days. Can't believe that loads of caffeine goes well with AF. I get SVT and I'm advised not to overdo it.
