Do You Think This Is Odd

I do not feel the need to socialise, I'm not bothered whether people like me or not, and I don't need lots of friends or acquaintances.

I dont feel any need to socialise either,I like meeting people and having a chat but like to leave when I've had enough (not in a rude way) but I dont need to seek out social situations, I'm quite happy in my own company.
I dont worry or fret whether people like me but I wouldn't like to think I had upset anyone or that they disliked me enough to actively avoid me. I have few true friends who know and accept me - thats enough for me.
The only negative I have thought are things like keeping up with the times, social skills, emotional health,a balance of ideas and beliefs its good to hear the other side or even debate,

Hey,I've been reading this thread with interest all evening and to be quite honest I'm a little weary of loners as usually from my experience with loners something has happened in their lives to draw away from society.
Usually they first draw away, then anger and resentment sinks in followed by despair then finally acceptance as some people I know then start going a little loopy. I'm pretty sure most serial killers start off this way not that I'm implying anyone here will go insane or become a serial killer but it's fascinating and food for thought.
