I don't get it, why do some people have to act such jerks? even when it's not effecting them in the slightest. I feel so happy when I come on here to ask a question as I know I'm going to have a positive encounter with someone who cares and wants to help. but when you steep out into the real world it's just not like this :-( its so sad
Ironically, I think it is because we are social creatures and human society revolves around establishing status versus whoever we interact with -even total strangers. Some are so determined to always come out on top, in every interaction, that they behave like a complete jerk.
We are all at different ages and stages of development. As fast as one lot grow out of it, a new generation develop the same jerk-like behaviours. At least I hope it's just a phase.
Too many people have a chip on their shoulders, resulting from an inferiority complex which demands that they should try to score points at every opportunity. A childish trait which is to be deplored and pitied, as these people will never mature into adult human beings.
Just continue to be selective with the people you interact with, personally or 'cyberly'.
People waste far too much time trying to fit into what's expected due to the mainstream ethos.
Personally, i'm a social butterfly as and when I want to be, otherside i'm happy to relax in my home, where I feel comfortable.
Don't be sad, just understand we all have different needs and be comfortable and confident with yours.
I've come across far more mean/not nice/point scoring/put you in your place people on this site than I come across in the real world (except perhaps at secondary school).
