Morning all

Do any of you ladies own and wear a Genie Bra? Are they as good/comfortable as they're made out to be?

I have costochondritis and a hiatus hernia and am struggling to find comfy bras at the moment. Even the non wired are rubbish. :(

depends on your size...ok for around house but I find them to be no good for support...

Thanks Murray. I'm quite small (36/38B/C) do reckon they would suit?
It does depend on how large busted you are!

I have one I bought in the states from a large girls shop and I would not go out in public in it as the support is not there!

However I do buy non wired firm from Evans and they are so comfortable and provide excellent support - 2 for £24 I cannot recommend them enough.
Sorry your response wasn't there when I started typing.
My apologies for not having a scooby about a genie bra, but I went for sports bras a couple of years ago, bit of a faff to pull over head but I find them quite comfy.

Thanks all. I am looking at sports bras but thick they might be too tight.
I'd gp with Islay rocky..genie ok if you are of a boyish figure...
Question Author
I'll order one then and see how I go. I'm not completely boyish but haven't really got much in the boob department.
Rocky...when was the last time you got measured?
I usually go for Warners..

Ummmm, a few years ago. M&S measured me, brought me the 'correct' siza and they didn't fit. My faith in this measuring lark is limited.

My problem though isn't the size of the bra but the elasticity of the band underneath. I've been near to tears with the pain this week :(
you need to size up !!

Thanks Murray. Do you buy off this website? I notice you have to pay for returns, as there's a better than average chance of me having to send items back I won't buy off a company that doesn't offer free returns.

I'm already a size up. I measure 36c but my bras are 38b. All non wired.

look here rocky..I have done so yes..don't know about returns though
Rocky, I have three Sainsbury's equivalent to the Genie bra. They are my 'at home' bras. They are extremely comfortable and quite supportive. I wouldn't play badminton wearing one, though. Too much jiggling about.

The Sainsbury's ones are very cheap. Try one and see if you like it.
I think this lady could do with getting measured https://iamtobe.files.wordpress.com/2014/07/91807b8d54841f13994c60e3918f28d0.jpg

:-)
I'm not going to click on Ratter's link!
