I've been in it for quite a few years for a hiatus hernia. Lifesaver for me after months of downing litres of Gaviscon.

I have been on it for a few years and it has worked for me. I have had no problems/side-effects from it.

I've been on it about 6 months so far. I have been ok on it but last few weeks I have had sore stomach.

yes (many years) and not really. I got it for occasional acid reflux, maybe once a month. Now if I miss a day's dose I get the reflux the same day. So I have to keep taking it, but there are no other problems with it.

no problems at all,even managed to reduce from 30mg to 15mg.

My OH has been on it for years. He has a stomach ulcer. No side effects whatsoever. He doesn't take it daily anymore though, just as and when he needs it.

Funny you should ask.
Been on it since June 2006 and all ok until March this year.
Stomach pains and other issues.
Had a top and bottom scope and I have Polypes caused by the doctor said long term use of PP ? This meant Lansoprazole.
Now on a different type of tablet.
