OK, I dont have long (about 6 weeks) and I want to lose a bit of the tum and tone up the pins.
Any suggestions as to a quick fix? Obviously cutting down the calories (bye bye Pinot), drinking lots of water and I was thinking a decent brisk walk nearly every day.
Anything else I can do? (And suggestions of a burkini or a head transplant have already been made and rejected as RUDE!)
NoM......my idea and definition of starvation ( which I should have made clear) is where the carbohydrate intake is so reduced that the body turns to protein for it's glucose production, a condition know as ketosis and this often occurs during a high protein, non carb diet. ( smell their breaths). This occurs well before the common use of the term...starvation.
You know no offence NoM, but I will continue to take the advice of those that have studied food nutrition and have professional qualifications in it.
But this will make an interesting conversation when I see my team on Monday!
"btw...BM is not overweight, she just wants to tone."
Maybe! maybe! that is not the impression that i have got, although i have never met barmaid. I may have the wrong impression completely.
If it is JUST "tone" that she is looking for...then forget the diet posts.
What is tone?
alba.....you are correct.....but diets are not going to do that...unless of course that you are thinking in terms of anabolic steroids (hardly to be described as a diet).
I really don't know what "tone" means.....can anybody help me here?
Islay.....jiggly bits.....LOL.....right, if you find a method, diet or what you will, pleas let me know as i have when redundant "jiggly" bit that i wouldn't mind....."firming up"...;-)
sqad, moi aussi!
Re. the OP, eat fruit. Instead of a meal try eating pears or apples 'first'.
I cut out breakfast and had a pear - the hard conference type- when I finished it I was no longer hungry. I lost 6 pound with ease.
Pears contain copper which a bonus.
