OK, I dont have long (about 6 weeks) and I want to lose a bit of the tum and tone up the pins.
Any suggestions as to a quick fix? Obviously cutting down the calories (bye bye Pinot), drinking lots of water and I was thinking a decent brisk walk nearly every day.
Anything else I can do? (And suggestions of a burkini or a head transplant have already been made and rejected as RUDE!)
To those of you who have offered advice, positive comments, good wishes and moral support I thank you all. There are certainly some great ideas to try.
To those of you who would rather settle scores, turn this into a b**** fest or engage in nonsense not related to the point, I am not telling you what to do, I am just saying I would really appreciate it if you would take it elsewhere.
To Snags: I think I lost 3lbs crying with laughter at your comment.
Bit of clarification: In precisely 6 months I have lost 2 stone - and that was simply cutting out sugar in coffee and drastically cutting out alcohol. There are a few wobbly bits here and there - not least a slight tum and legs. I have undergone a massive confidence knock as a result of events which are soon to be over. Also I havent worn a bikini since I was 18.........
Barmaid....it is a pity that you didn't post that "bit of clarification" much sooner as that may well have modified some of the replies and who knows may well have tempered some of the posts.
Your OP could have been more helpful.
sugar in coffee!! dear lawd, woman, how on earth can someone put sugar in coffee.?!!
For a bit of a wobbly tum, try sit-ups, alternatively, wasn't there some sort of gadget involving a wheel with handles on either side?
The one where you had to get down on your knees and roll it away from you and then bring it back?
(not a good explanation/description, sorry)
BM could have gone over to Weightloss and Dieting...where she would've been told to eat lettuce leaves and run 10k a day. But this was far more interesting...;-0
Well done on your weight loss BM, very well done to you. I'm not a doctor or in any position to offer advice on a medical front but what you're dong in the original post seems right to me.

As for your thread being slightly derailed, it did make me laugh reading it all, the claws were out for some folk.
Whatever advice you decide to take, the most important thing you need to do now, or at least in a few weeks time is "enjoy your holiday"! Hopefully while you do that all the nasty things that have happened will fade away and the future will let you get on with life in a much more positive manner!
