Had half an hour chat with the Doctor yesterday.
Managed to get some answers and some clarification. Heads up to the man he was very accommodating indeed, and didn't seem to mind explaining things for me.
The scan of head shows no tumours at all, nor does the abdominal one show any tumour in any of his other organs.
However, the cancer is in all lobes of both lungs.
An MDT meeting decided that no further treatment would help or be offered, but he will be discharged to home soon with MacMillan care.
He was a lot less confused when I visited, and looks a lot better than he has this last two months.
We will both be pleased when he can come home :)

Today he felt unwell, but improved as the day wore on.
Still struggling to get him drinking, so more jellies setting in the fridge.
Trying to make some sense of the CT report, but to be frank it's pretty well gone over my head (as it's probably meant to) but it indicates that all lobes are affected, no other organs involved, a few tiny gall stones, a small hernia (all of which we were aware) just something puzzling me that mentions T7 and 'increasing sclerotic change'
He has eaten well today, and the confusion appears somewhat variable.
Thanks for asking :)

So glad Mr F is home and you can get on with things now, I wouldn't worry too much about result deciphering unless you want to then ask.
T7 likely refers to an area of the thoracic spine, so related or not is doesn't matter.
Enjoy what you can when you can and keep those jellies going.
Love to both.x

Yes, I'm coping ok thanks. Just as well as none of the promised help has been forthcoming so far, not even a flipping phone call.
Have a friend here for a few days, and being able to just chat is helping no end. Conversation with someone with Alzheimer's can be awfully frustrating. Nice just to natter with someone. :)
