... other people's, of yourself. I find lately when shopping & arriving at the till, I get, hiya lovee or ... alright dear, I assume it's my grey hair? I find myself saying in my head, hey, I've just cleaned the equivalent of a small cinema area. So perceptions, whether that's hair, the way you dress, tattoos, what's your experiences positive or negative of what people make of you just on appearance? Also, do you ever use other people's perceptions of you to your own advantage?
Strangers talking to me...I haven't got a clue. One time we were sitting outside a pub in Ireland and bloke walked by and my OH said "here we go" I didn't know what he meant until the bloke came back and sat next to me and OH just said "told ya"
His name was Joe. He wanted a wife. He gave me his phone number :-D It was surreal.
Another time a stranger introduced me to his cat!!!
Unfriendly ummmm, so you think other people assume you're stand offish? How weird having a man approach you and ask you that in the company of another man.
Lovely lady asked me yesterday if I knew how the bread slicer machine worked (in the supermarket) anyhoo, I didn't but we both discovered we have a black SOH lol
Yeah...they seem to. My OH will talk to anyone whereas I am quite stand offish. I'm much better if I'm with someone so they can do the talking and I just join in.
The man was much older than me and wasn't flirting. I just think he wanted someone to talk to.
I've also had strangers say hello to me like they know me. I think I might just have one of those faces :-)
I will talk to anyone though as long as they start the conversation.
She was telling me she'd kept a birthday card from a daughter which depicted a coffin, I know, I know, each to their own, humour is subjective
If we were all the same, it'd be a boring world.
