Fluttering In Ear!
22 Answers
Today I have intermittent fluttering in my right ear every 30 secs or so. Google seems to say it's tinnitus which I do have but it feels more like it's a pressure thing- I don't have a cold though. What might it be and how can I get rid of it?!

it could be due to many reasons, but the advice given my spath above should be tried as a first port of call.
It isn't tinnitus and it is no big deal.
I can't remember if you have had your BP taken recently, which could be a cause of your symptoms.
There are other but extremely uncommon causes............
Give it a couple of days and if there is no improvement, get back to us.

It went away but is now back. When I "click" my ears by altering the pressure /raising my soft palate it sounds very squidgy. It does feel like wax could be the problem. Either that or a trapped moth arghhh! I'm away working all next week so no chance of getting to the docs. Is there anything I can do to stop it?!

Zac....I assume that your tinnitus is in both ears and if not, then you have seen an ENT bod for investigation.
Yes....the fluttering is a manifestation of your tinnitus caused almost certainly by abnormalities in blood flow in your carotid or vertebral artery. Not a lot can be done about it, as it represents a short period of turbulent blood flow mainly in the artery to the neck (vertebral artery)
NOW...if you problem affects just one ear...then you need to se an ENT surgeon.
