How does one go about developing/building up pectoral muscles (pecs)??!

Do you mean what type of exercise do you need to do to build up your pecs? Stick to basic mass building exercises at first, i.e. bench presses and dumbell presses. You can use a flat bench, but to build up the muscle more evenly you can use a slightly inclined bench and a declined bench. (sloping up and down respectively). If you want size, it's best to use freeweights instead of machines. There's no substitute for good old barbells and dumbells! When you've built up the mass, you can introduce shaping exercises like dumbell flyes, cable crossovers, and dumbell pullovers into your training routine. Very important; you won't gain anything unless you eat properly, and get plenty of rest/sleep. Like astonvilla12 said, train each muscle group only once a week, or it won't have time to repair itself. Hope you get on ok. :)
