I have tried these twice before and failed ! Worn contact lenses since 17 and love them. However now in my late 40's I cannot read clearly close up with normal contacts. One Optician said to get used to them I had to keep them in all day (8-10 hours) and persevere - and not keep switching back to normal lenses as it confuses the brain. A year later I tried them again - another optician told me to gradually get used to them over a few days= 2 hours to 4 hours 6 hours and so on. They are brilliant for seeing close up but the distance vision is always blurred and the maximum I have been able to put up with it has been 2 days. My prescription is -3.75 and (mid 1.75). I really want to try them again. Anybody had success with these?
