Walking On Tiptoes ..
24 Answers
I've noticed the odd adult walking about on their toes, their heels not touching the ground. Is it a medical condition?

Barefoot running. I've been told that it's better to run like that, rather than striking the ground with your heel first, then going through your normal running gait and pushing off with your toes. It can take anywhere from six months to a year (And more) to adapt. It takes all the impact out of your heel, through your knees and as far as the lower back (I used to work in Sports Shop and on the Footwear Department).
Oh dear. I've noticed children walking like this but so far no adults. Amazing when looking at something's that if looked into deeply there lies the answer.
What a pity more medics don't look into Vitamin B12 deficiency as there lies a whole can of worms which could answer a myriad of questions where you think questions couldn't be answered!
