How long does it take to forget a loved one?
10 years, 20 years or maybe never
You would have been 51 today, but I was only loaned you for 5
Sleep tight little one til we meet again

Loved one?
I never forget ANYONE and that includes "loved one's"
I don't think you ever 'forget' a loved one your just learn to live and move on.
Oh dear Maggie...that is so sad. A ( HUG) to you.
We never forget. xx
Your memory of your little one is forever and that's as it should be Maggie.x
Never, I would never forget those I love, and I'm sure you won't either, so sorry :(
xxx
Never.

I am so sad to read your post Maggie, and as you say, children are not 'ours', they are loaned to us for a short time, and in your case, that short time was much much too short.
It takes for as long as you live.

"How long does it take to forget a loved one? "

Did you really mean "forget" or did you mean "grieve?"
So sad, Maggie.
We never forget but the rawness of grief mellows over time.

I think it would be worse if we forgot, it would be like they died again...

Even I if I forgot everything else I hope I'd remember the person I loved most
You'll remember her until your last breath Maggiebee, as I will remember my first baby boy who lived for only hours.xx
So sorry Maggie, I don't think you will ever forget.

Your daughter died way too soon, just cherish the memories you have. xx
You can never forget a loved one and that is how it should be. No matter how short their time with you the memories stay forever, you just learn to cope. My heart goes out to you.
Never Maggie, sadly.
Never ever ever.
