I make no excuse for using 'Hitler's favourite newspaper'.

This must have happened because the thugs chose to video it.

Three cheers for the Taser wielding officer.
A thug is a vicious person, how is Ken Marsh wrong?

People have been seeing a breakdown in society since it began. I don't think it's worth fearing the collapse of society because of the actions of such thugs either now or in the future.

That's not to condone such behaviour, of course -- it's unacceptable -- but there's no need to exaggerate its scale either.

Should have used it, you mean.

/// A Hackney Police spokesman told MailOnline the taser was switched on but not fired ///

It is no exaggeration, there has been a sharp increase in the breakdown of our society even over the last couple or three years.

Our once proud Capital City of London, is a prime example, where it is has been proven, that it is not safe to walk it's streets.
I'm not sure I agree that a short-term spike in London homicides is indicative of a wider breakdown in society. Each death is one too many, and I don't mean to minimise the individual tragedy, but it's still hyperbole to go on about societal breakdown and collapse because of that.
Years back we weren't followed everywhere by cameras so a lot of crimes would have gone unreported to the media.

Do you mean to say that there would have been bodies of murdered victims laying on the streets of London, because there were no cameras around to get them reported to the media? LOL
Obviously not. Nor every murder or stabbing has been reported though. The media cherry pick which ones to report on.

Yes I do aog.
'Budget cuts, falling police numbers .. and cuts to other services are contributing to the problem Mr Marsh warned.
Social workers go home at 5.oclock, and we are left to pick up the pieces, mental health patients are all thrown out on the streets, and we are left to pick up the pieces'

And how could you possibly know that, if they have not been reported?
Undoubtedly.

I've always advocated that assault on Police ought to mean an automatic custodial sentence, minimum 6 weeks.
Because, AOG, I've witnessed things that didn't even make the local news and I'm going back years!
