dry skin
hi,i have very dry skin on my nose ive tried a few different moisturisers but nothing seems to help,im 45,can anybody help?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I too have very dry skin. I try to exfoliate regularly (with a gentle exfoliator) to get rid of any dead skin cells then use aqueous (sp!?) cream.
I apply a good amount as a night cream then use it more sparingly during the day.
It is not a miracle cure but it is cheap and does as good a job as some expensive moisturisers.
The one thing I would say is to check you are not allergic to any make up products etc that you may be using. This can cause dermatitis - I try to use unperfumed and uncoloured (such as Simple) to avoid this.
• Glycerin oil is also a good remedy for dry skin.
• Conditioned air is dry and really affects your skin. If you can't avoid sitting in an air conditioned room all day, at least get a humidifier, or keep a bucket half filled with water next to you to humidify the air.
