You Never Really Know People Do You?

Today we went to a funeral of a fellow U3A member.
When we got to the crematorium the car park was full of Morris dancers in full costume. We were amazed, not expecting to see this. We were half an hour early so decided they were from the funeral before ours.
We waited but no other funeral party came out. I eventually asked someone if this was our funeral. Yes we were told. I asked about the Morris dancer connection and was told he has been a Morris dancer for thirty years.
Amazing, I only knew him as an aquaintance from U3A and really only went to represent the committee.
In the order of service was a photo of him in full regalia, now we knew he really did look right in his outfit.
They did a little musical piece in the service, and at the end the played and danced everyone out of the crem.
It was a very different funeral, everyone in good spirits and one I'll remember for a very long time.

The coffin was carried in by 6 biker friends and had his leathers and helmet on top. As it was being carried in his beloved Harley Davidson was being revved up outside. Over 100 bikers had followed the hearse from the house to the crematoriam. Certainly different as was yours.
