Back Pain After Epidural
6 Answers
I had an epidural on last Tuesday when I had my varicose veins seen to. I do hate them, and it takes hours and hours to wear off. Since Thursday I have had back ache , especially bad on Saturday and Sunday, today it seems ok. I wonder if it had anything to do with the epidural ? Looking on google there are conflicting opinions, has anyone had an epidural here ? Hopefully never again.

I suspect that the occurrence of back ache a couple of days after having had the treatment is pure coincidence. However, as with any medical problem the best advice is probably "If in doubt get it checked out".
(In the meantime though see if anything here helps: https:/ /www.nh s.uk/co ndition s/back- pain/ )

It's much better today Buenchico, hardly any pain at all, I have been doing my usual housework etc. although being very cautious. I will mention it to the dr. when I see him on Thursday when I have a follow up. But it's just curious , but maybe coincidental , maybe I was walking differently and pulled a muscle.Maybe...............
