Found out that this was book 10 in the series set in Glasgow. So have gone back to book 1 and am reading Never Somewhere Else. Think there's about 15/16 in the series but won't read them all at once although I love the characters.
Thank you for your reply, I love my books, always have done, even though I am now registered blind and have to read using a magnifying glass with a light on it that is on loan from our local hospital. This makes my reading slower these days but is still very enjoyable.

bazile.........how did you know? I only told two Abers, as i didn't want to get into an argument between Spain versus the UK (if you know what i mean.
in a nutshell, a Spanish Bank collapsed taking with it £ 250,000 of my savings. Then some years ago i had bypass heart surgery, which spooked mrs sqad and then 3 years after that had to have a pacemaker fitted. Mrs sqad is 10 years younger than me and as the future his for her, we had an open informed discussion between the 2 of us and decided to relocate back to the UK.
We came back in November 2017......we both miss Menorca , but me in particular.
The NHS from our experience and from our area is far inferior to that in Menorca.
A man has to do,what a man has to do.
