Rectal Bleeding
10 Answers
I have Crohns disease and a few other chronic conditions.
I take six Octasa twice a day, other meds for other problems.
Have to use toilet up to twenty times a day, usually with urgency but only ever really pass mainly liquid blood and water.
I eat one meal a day, and never a lot.
Love coffee and lots of tea.
I drink eight cans of lager per day, as a crutch really to cope but do enjoy them.
Could my drinking be the cause of the bleeding?
(Had my latest colonoscopy about six months ago.)

If it was me (I have crohns) I’d continue taking the octasa and call my specialist nurse for advice. She can make an immediate appointment with your crohns specialist if it’s deemed necessary.

Theland I had total UC for many years and now I don't. I got rid of it by taking the York
Test to see what food I was intolerant to, and by doing the Lemon Detox Diet which I believe re-set my immune system. A
fast of 72 hours or longer will do this. It also gives your insides a rest. My specialist didn't believe I'd ever had UC looking at my normal colonoscopy and I had to order my old medical records in to prove it to him! I'm certain that diet plays every part in IBD ever though we are told it doesnt.
