Best hair dye??

I'm dying my hair black and I just want to know which is the best brand on the market- lasts longest, best colour, best for your hair

having dyed my hair for years and spent a small fortune, i now buy superdrug's own brand black hair dye and it is no different from ones that cost 3 or 4 times the price.

i would still do the test patch to make sure you don't react as you should with all dyes.

Do you want it black black like a gothic sort of black, or just dark? Very few people have genuinely black hair, and it can therefore make you look washed out if you choose a total black. It can also make your hair look like a wig, and be a nightmare to grow out.

Be sure that it is black you want, and not just a really dark brown!

Fran666 I agree with charliebaps - Superdrug's own brand is a great hair dye. Works perfectly every time.

I have used Super drug colours, they are lovely but they dont half dry your hair out. I too have spent many hours looking "attractive" with my hair in a pile plastered in hair colour. But I think L'oreal do a blue/black colour which I used to like.
